Social Distance
We’ve made more room in our facilities so that everyone can stay at a safe distance! How have we done this? Smaller class sizes, designated drop off and pick up areas, and social distance markers are all changes you will notice when you come back to class. Families, students, and staff will all be expected to maintain safe social distance in the facilities. Please follow the flow markers and facility flow maps to ensure that all of our families can enjoy their experience at a safe social distance.

Personal Protective Equipment
We want to make sure everyone can enjoy a safe experience in our facilities. Families and staff will be required to wear masks covering mouth and nose in order to enter the facility. Swimmers will not be required to wear their face coverings in the pool, but we do ask that they wear them into and out of the facility. Instructors will wear face shields during class to ensure the safety of the swimmers and themselves.

Health Assessments
Upon entering the facility you will be greeted by a staff member for a brief health assessment. You and your child will be asked several questions as directed by local health officials. Temperatures will be taken and recorded in the event that contact tracing is necessary. Please note, if you, your child, or a family member is exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 you should not attend class. Please contact a supervisor and we will provide you with a makeup lesson.

Clean facilities
We’ve always gone above and beyond to ensure that our pools, locker rooms, and facilities are some of the cleanest around. In an effort to take even more precautions we have doubled down on cleaning and sanitizing the facility, before and after every class. 15 minute windows between classes are being built in to allow for extra time to clean the facility. We will be using a state of the art sanitizer to spray locker rooms and bathrooms. All shared equipment will be sanitized after each use. Doors will be propped open to minimize contact. Sanitizing stations will be available throughout the facility.

amenities
To reduce the spread of germs, bacteria, and virus we have removed all shared items and spaces from the facility. This includes, toys, crayons, books, skill cards, and hair dryers. The locker rooms will be temporarily closed for showering and changing. They will still be available for the use of the restroom. Items that were previously available to borrow from the lost and found will no longer be shared, however we do have goggles, suits, and towels available for purchase at our on-site swim shop HobieSwim.
