Ages 11 - 14 years |
We believe in the group learning process. Participating in a class with peers makes learning to swim fun and exciting for most children. Our Young Adult class offers students age 11 - 14 the opportunity to learn and develop skills along side their similar aged peers. This class is for students who cannot yet complete one lap of each of the competitive strokes.
Our small class size, with a 1:4 instructor to swimmer ratio or better, offers every child the opportunity to learn and succeed in meeting and executing new skills.
Children in the Young Adult lesson should come prepared in their bathing suit. Goggles are recommended and are available for purchase at our swim shop HobieSwim. Children with long hair should have their hair pulled back and away from their face. Towels and shoes will be left outside of the pool with a parent.
